Since Unitarian Universalism is not a religion based on a creed or a prescribed set of beliefs, how do you decide if this is the place for you? Try any or all of these:
Attend several Sunday Services
Our services vary greatly, reflecting our many interests and spiritual realities. Our consulting Minister, John Wright, leads our worship services once or twice a month (usually 2nd and 5th Sundays plus holidays). Other Sundays, our services are Lay Led or we have speakers from other religious traditions or community service organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, Planned Parenthood, or P.A.L.S. (Peace Alliance of the Lower Shore).

U New 2 UU–Introduction to Unitarian Universalism
4th Sunday of each month from 12:30-1:00
This is a brief, informal introduction to UU with time for questions with our Minister, John Wright.
The New U–For New and Prospective Members of UUFS
Find out more about Unitarian Universalism and about how things work at UUFS. This three-part class will include a “Getting to Know You” session, exploring your personal religious/spiritual search for meaning, learning the history of UU, and finally, how to get involved and become integrated into our wonderful congregation. These classes will be held three times this year: November, January and April. This class is required for new members.
Why should I become a member?
By joining you become a stakeholder and help determine the future of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship at Salisbury. You become part of the decision making process with your voice, vote, and your service. Only members can vote or serve on the Board of Trustees.
How do I become a member?
To become a member of this Fellowship, we ask that you attend the class The New UU–For New and Prospective Members of UUFS and “Sign the Book” in the presence of the Minister, a member of the Membership & Caring Committee, or a member of the Board.
Membership means making a commitment to participate regularly, offer service to the community, and make an annual financial pledge. We call this “showing U care with your time, talent, and treasure.”
Membership means seeking your own spiritual truth and offering support and encouragement to others as they seek their truth.
Membership means opening yourself to opportunities for growth, both spiritual and intellectual.
Membership means seeking to understand and celebrate diversity.
Membership means speaking your truth with love and respect and listening with an open heart and mind.
