I was going to move it to next Sunday but I will not be available as my troupe is dancing at the Great Clue Caper downtown. Hopefully you can still make it on the holiday- bring family and friends. Children are welcome. If the weather is nice- which it does look like on the forecast- we will meet at the big water fountain at Salisbury City Park at 6pm. This should be interesting since many people drive by and hopefully it will attract some new members! If the weather is below 60 degrees or it is raining we will meet at the UUFS 2812 Old Ocean City Road, Salisbury, Maryland 21804

This event occurs on the first Sunday of each month. A drum circle unites people of all ages through rhythm of collective consciousness.

Drum circles have developed into three main types: “culturally specific”, such as Middle Eastern or West African groups, “facilitated circles” with drums from any culture, and “anarchic” circles – improvised communal drumming with no designated musical leader.

Bring a drum or other percussion instrument or just come for the experience. Percussion instruments include but are not limited to hand drums such as djembes, bongos, doumbeks, tablas, tambourines, shakers, frogs, sticks, cymbals, even bells! Instruments are recommended but not required.
