Reimbursement for Artists

To the artists who participated in the holiday sale:

I tried to figure out how much each person sold per their inventory sheet, but in many cases it was not very clear.

I returned the inventory sheets back behind the brown money box in the bookstore. Please take yours back, figure out how much you sold, indicate the amount on the sheet (don’t forget to deduct the 30% for the Fellowship), sign it and put it in the Treasurer’s box in the office. He will issue a check for you.

I think it was a nice project, but if we do it again we have to come up with a better plan how to handle this. Any suggestions?

Creative Show and Sale

On the Sunday after Thanksgiving, when we have our abbreviated service and a fabulous pot-luck luncheon. Barbara Waldman and I would like to invite artists and craftspeople, in our fellowship, to contribute their handiwork for a joint Creative Show and Sale. The proceeds from the sale [which will continue until the end of December] will go to the artist and will include a 30% charity contribution to our Fellowship. (Artists, please inventory and tag you items. UUFS will not be responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items.) You may e-mail or call one of us for specifics.

Barb Waldman will be at the fellowship this Sat. 11/28 at 12 noon to receive any Arts and Crafts projects you wish to sell.

Please inventory your items on a sheet of paper with your name on it and the price of the item. Tag your items, have your initials on the tag and the price.

As you know this is a fundraiser with 30% of the sale going to the fellowship general fund. If you have any questions send an e-mail to uufs@uufs.net Attn: Barbara. Thanks
