The Congregational Dinner on March 5 will kick off our Annual Stewardship Campaign that will run through April 3. Each year at this time the Fellowship looks forward to the coming year and asks for the support of our members and friends to accomplish our objectives. Our preliminary budget calls for $42,782 in contributions to our Stewardship Fund (unrestricted donations) to support anticipated expenses for the fiscal year beginning July 1. After our members—and hopefully a few friends as well—make their annual pledges, we will present a final budget to the congregation for approval at the May Congregational Meeting.

As always, we will try to mix a little business with a lot of pleasure at our dinner. The evening will include a potluck dinner, entertainment by the Zen Monkeys and door prize drawings. Our minister, John Wright, will give the welcome and blessing. Board President Naomi Reed will emcee. Our Finance Chair, Ed Steffes, will give an overview of our financial plans and discuss how the Stewardship Campaign relates to the Vision for UUFS approved by the congregation in November.

The dinner is scheduled for 6:00 pm on March 5. Please let us know you’re coming by adding your name to the signup sheet on Sunday or by notifying Frann Weaver or Jackie Cox at hospitality@uufs.net. We hope you can join us!
