Honoring Yule in our Communities …
We are coming up on the season of light and would love to hear how you incorporate the celebrations in your UU world.
How do you bring this to your congregations? Does your chapter lead a Sunday service for Yule/Winter Solstice? Do you work with your religious education program teaching about it? How do you support your larger communities in welcoming the light?
Do you have special readings? How do you celebrate alone?
We would love to hear from you about what you do.  Send your input to us! Let us know if we have permission to share it too!
Newsletter for UU Pagan Incarcerated Peoples…

Many thanks to our Membership Coordinator and team for beginning to create newsletters for those in encumbered settings such as those in incarcerated settings for the Church of the Larger Fellowships program.

The newsletter contains a ritual for Samhain for the solitary practitioner.
For more information contact CLF or CUUPS for how to get this to local facilities in your area.
If you have poems, rituals,
or writings to share for this contact Membership Committee.
What Would You like to Volunteer for and with CUUPS, Inc?

The current board and the new members coming on REALLY want your participation and input!

We are going to be developing committees to create religious education materials for CUUPS to market, materials for those in incarcerated settings, and materials to support congregations in learning to welcome the Pagan/earth centered communities. We also want to create another convocation, and have people at our booth in June at General Assembly in Spokane! Send us your interest.
CUUPS Participating in Parliament of the World Religions!

The Parliament of the World’s Religions was created to cultivate harmony among the world’s religious and spiritual communities and foster their engagement with the world and its guiding institutions in order to achieve a just, peaceful and sustainable world.
To accomplish this, we invite individuals and communities who are equally invested in attaining this goal.
This year the event is being held in Toronto, Canada on November 1-7, 2018 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. CUUPS Executive Director, David Pollard and President and Parliament Ambassador, Jerrie Hildebrand will be attending. Jerrie has registered for an event prior to the opening of Parliament called “Alchemy of Women’s Collective Wisdom and Power”, and is also looking at participating in a certificate program on Indigenous Cultural Awareness. All that can be said is it is shaping up to be a very busy and full event.

David Pollard and Jerrie Hildebrand will be attending as will also with other members as well as many other Pagan and Earth-Centered organizations. We will be posting to the CUUPS Facebook page happenings and things we find interesting while we are there.
We will also write reports from the event for the Natures Sacred Journey blog at Patheos!
Stay tune to hear the journeys and discoveries!
