What are your dreams for the Fellowship? More space, More folks, More social action, More education events for all ages, More music, More money, New programs, New outreach, New décor, new people. Whatever your wishes, maybe together we can achieve them. Let’s start by sharing our dreams with each other. We can do this using a process called “Visioning.”
The first step in this process is for all of us together to brainstorm what we would like UUFS to “be like” five years from now. From there, we will consolidate the ideas into a 5-year plan which the congregation will review (and probably rewrite) and then endorse this fall.
We will begin the process with a discussion service on Sunday August 29 at 11:00 am. We will hold an additional brainstorming meeting in early September for people who were out of town this Sunday. Please join us and “Dream a Little Dream With Me.”

By now I hope you’ve received your invitation to the first (of several) sessions to plan the future of the fellowship. Please know it will begin at 11 AM, in place of the regular service, and will run about two and half hours. (It takes a while to get everyone’s wishes/dreams for the fellowship heard and recorded.)
We’ll take a break midway for lunch. Please bring a sandwich for yourself and, if you wish, a dessert to share. The Hospitality Committee will provide drinks. Babysitting will be provided.
We encourage all members and friends to participate as we go from dreams to goals for the fellowship. We look forward to seeing you at our first session on August 29th.
