The deadline is rapidly approaching for finalizing the budget to be approved by the Board of Trustees and the congregation for the fiscal year beginning on July 1.
As of today (Monday, April 19), we have received pledges covering 93% of our target. That leaves a gap of almost $3,000 between the amount pledged and the amount we need to fund our anticipated expenses. Although that isn’t a very big number, it does bear directly on our ability to pay our consulting minister’s salary for the full fiscal year.
Members who have not yet made a financial commitment have an opportunity to help close this gap and fully fund ministry for the coming year. We ask that all members return their pledge forms now, so we’ll know how much support we can count on. Members who have joined recently can help us greatly by making their first financial commitment to the Fellowship at this time. We are experiencing a noticeable increase in membership and a spirit of warmth and enthusiasm within our congregation. Let’s translate that into the material support we need to make continued improvements to our programs and facilities.
We also welcome pledges to our INTO THE FUTURE campaign for paying off our building mortgage and freeing up funds for future ministry. We have reached 69% of our goal there.
Thanks to all for your continued support of our Fellowship.
