On Saturday, March 6, UUFS launched its annual budget drive with an enjoyable dinner in the Fellowship Hall. The Hospitality Committee under the direction of Frann Weaver organized the ample food and refreshments. Naomi Reed presented information on the budget and pledge process, and Ed Steffes explained the “Into the Future” capital campaign. John Wright provided some light-hearted rhymes, while Susan Beverly read her poetry of a more serious kind. The Zen Monkeys were on hand with their great musical entertainment. The beautiful table decorations were given away as door prizes, along with the grand prize of a VIP parking place!
