On October 23 & 24, UUFS hosted a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Joseph Priestley District, the district of the Unitarian Universalist Association to which our congregation belongs. To our knowledge, it was the first time in the fifty-year history of UUFS that the Board had held its quarterly meeting here.
The choir was on hand to give the Board a musical welcome, followed by dinner and a brief service. Representatives from UUFS had an opportunity to discuss our congregation’s needs. Board President Mike Harris expressed the Board’s appreciation for their warm reception.
